6th May – Lockdown networking for Beckenham businesses
Lockdown continues and so does Laptops and Lipstick. In a socially distant way of course!
Sadly, the gorgeous food from Langley Park Golf Club is now a distant memory. But we still got together online to exchange ideas, offer support and pass referrals.
It was a really useful and motivational catch up and so lovely to see and hear how we’re all coping from a business perspective in these very strange times.
And it was a fond farewell to very longstanding and lovely member Mary from Mary and Mick Graphic Design. Many of the member businesses have Mary to thank for their branding and we will miss her.
The 10 minutes…
Accountant, Karen Cheeseman from Grugeon Reynolds gave us a fabulously detailed and useful update on the various Government schemes including the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme and the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme. There were lots of questions and Karen answered them all very patiently and knowledgeably.
