3rd June 2020 – bumper business networking meeting
This month we surpassed ourselves with 28 business women in the Zoom room! Including 14 visitors. And being online has enabled us to cast our line far and wide so our guests came from all over the place this month. Sarah Houldcroft from Goldcrest Books virtually visited us all the way from Loughborough in Leicestershire.
We had our first try at breakout rooms for pre-meeting mingling and they were very successful. And it was great to get an opportunity to mix and catch up in smaller groups. We will definitely use these again!

With life looking so different for so many right now, Maria from the HR Dept gave us a great presentation on Beyond Lockdown – Mental Health and Returning to Work.
She ran us through things to look out for in our work colleagues (and ourselves!) and gave some excellent practical guidance on what we can do to support anyone who might be struggling.

- We obviously have lots of aspiring authors as Josie, Fiona, Alex, Jenni and a few more wanted to speak to Sarah regarding books.
- Fiona, Kate, Catherine, Elena and Maria wanted to speak to Lindie from Zulu Graphix regarding branded masks, desk shields and PPE
- Claire Still & Jo Sumner expressed interest in the online exercise sessions that Fiona from SMART Nutrition and Fitness is running.
